Evan Teplitsky Born in Somerset west, South Africa to a French Father and a South African Mother. Had a passion for sports at an early age.

His late grandfather Dennis Cawley, a keen golfer and president of the local Golf club introduced him to the game, which later culminated into where he is today.
Evan played provincial Golf and field hockey during high school as well as various other sporting codes on 1st team level. However, it was golf that grabbed his attention. Resulting in all other sporting codes being put aside.

Upon finishing school, Evan attended The Sam Frost golf Academy for one year to play tournaments and work on his game and fitness. This was an academy with hand-selected players living in a house together on a golf estate “living, eating and sleeping golf”. It was during this period that Evan realized he wanted to share his passion and knowledge of the game to the masses.

In 2004, Evan joined Erinvale Golf club as Assistant golf professional and worked his way up the ladder to become Assistant Golf director within a short few years. It was under the watchful eye of Golf Director Johan Piek that Evan graduated with a 3-year golf degree through the PGA of South Africa.

In 2009 alongside his graduation he was awarded the Apprentice of the year award.

In 2010 Evan pursued his quest to further skill and knowledge within the European golfing sector. Evan resides in Zell am See, Austria for 7 months of the year where he manages the pro-shop and runs his golf academy.Evan Teplitsky Golf Academy has one of the top junior programs and his clientele include professionals, national team players, social golfers and beginners alike.

Evan has also spent time on the professional Tour caddying and working with professionals such as Anton Haig, Matthew Kent and Andrew Georgiou. This gave him an insight to the way players minds work as well as the challenges and decisions one is faced with on and off the course.
